Hey, I spent decades to get my technique honed to the finest of points, just to make the perfect chicken. For birthday cards. Finally you see that the fruits of my labors have paid off.
{ OK he's glad he's texting and not on the phone or in person because that'd definitely get an embarrassing reaction from him. But at the same time, responding to something like that through text almost feels like it's doing Phil a disservice. Not that he's going to change it up now.
To Henry, it's really not the simplest thing in the world. How do these people do it?! Fortunately, these same people have been helping him get better at being more communicative about his ~feelings~ even though every fiber in his being is screaming at him not to, and Phil's one of them. }
I was thinking about responding to that with a joke or something similarly shitty, but now I'm not so sure I can pull that off without looking like a huge arsehole.
